Bird News Wednesday 5th October

Copeland Bird Observatory had an immature Little Gull (their first of the year), 300 Kittiwake, 300 Razorbill and 30 Gannet. In the evening 40 Pale-bellied Brent flew south (Neville McKee).
21 Little Egret seen from Island Hill, Comber & 5 Greenshank at Butterlump Stone, Newtownards (Adam McClure)
At Strangford Lough 122 feral Canada Geese, 387 Black-tailed Godwit and 5 Greenshank were at Ballymorran Bay. A juvenile Peregrine Falcon was at Islandhill (Des Price).

The Fermanagh White-tailed Eagle was today seen near Portora, Enniskillen.
