Small Copper: 2 at Killybegs Bog,
Ballymena, Co.
Antrim, on 14th May (Frank Turtle, I. Millar and M. MIllar) - see http://www.bcni.org.uk/Main.
Ken Thompson believes he saw a Small
Copper in his
garden at Tandragee, Co. Armagh, about the week before last, which would
 be
between about 3rd and 9th May; he is sure he saw a Holly Blue there
fairly
recently. Along with a possible resighting by Miss Lindsey Greeves at
Portadown,
also Co. Armagh, in late April, this would pre-date the 1st official
2010
record, of 1 seen by Maurice Hughes at Kinarla near Enniskillen, Co.
Fermanagh,
on 8th May.
Green Hairstreak: A large total of 31
at Killybegs
Bog, Ballymena, Co. Antrim, on 14th May; 8 had been seen there on 11th
May
(Frank Turtle, I. Millar and M. MIllar); 3 at Aughnadarragh Lake,
Saintfield, Co. Down, on 15th May (David Nixon)  - see http://www.bcni.org.uk/Main.
Reals Wood White: Seen about 14th May
at the edge
of Rectory Park Estate, Portadown (Sidney Irwin).
