Bird News Monday 4th July

Both the adult and the first summer Pacific Golden Plovers were present again today at Myroe levels, they were with Golden Plovers in a stony field.

A pair of Whooper Swans with six cygnets were at Lough Beg. (Clive Mellon).

An Osprey was near Fivemiletown. (David Steele).

A bullfinch was at Copeland Bird Observatory, this is the first record for the observatory for fifty years.
