Bird News Wednesday 17th April

An Alpine Swift was reported at Mussendun Temple, Castlerock, this evening.

The Black-neck Grebe was still at Oxford Island this morning. It is best viewed from The Waterside Hide (Frank Carroll)

3/4 Waxwing were still at Sainsbury's at Forestside in Belfast (David Clarke).

A Little Gull and Swift were at Belfast Harbour Lagoon (Gerard McGeehan). Yesterday 400 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Knot, 2 Whitethroat and 2 Willow Warbler were there (Andy Elliott)
