Bird News Thursday 1st October

Three Snow Buntings were at Myroe, also an adult Med Gull,three Wheatear and about 200 Skylark (Stuart McKee)

Two Great White Egrets and a Pectoral Sandpiper were in the south west corner of Lough Beg (David Steele)

Two Richards Pipits and a Yellow Wagtail were on Tory Island (Chris Ingram) a Yellow-browed Warbler was also present (Robert Vaughan)

A 1st winter Mediterranean Gull, 1 Peregrine, 1 Brent Goose, and 7 Little Egret were in Killough Harbour. 80 Skylark and 5 House Martin flew north, 10 Skylark and 15 Swallow flew south. (Tim Murphy)

The Ring-billed Gull was still at East Strand car park, Portrush (Christine Cassidy and Lindsay Hodges)

The Red Kite was at Antrim Boat Club again this morning (John Loughlin)
