Bird News Wednesday 1st March

An adult Mediterranean Gull was on a lamppost with a Black-headed Gull at Knockmore Road, Lisburn  at 08:30 am this morning. (Kevin Kirkham-Brown).

A Pink-footed Goose was with 78 Greylag at Belfast Waterworks. (Dave Allen).

A Water Rail was seen beside Kinnego Hide at Oxford Island. (Michael Loughridge).

A Little Auk was seen from the Rathlin ferry close to Rue Point. (Colin Guy).

A Whimbrel, Sandwich Tern, 7 Common Scoter and a Little Egret were in the sound between Donaghadee and Copeland (Stephen Foster, Ronan Owens).

An adult Mediterranean Gull was at Kinnegar shore. (Tony Dodds).
