An Osprey was at Lough Beg this evening (first sighting for a few weeks) also five male Ruff (in various states of summer plumage) in the southwest corner, plus a Greenshank and Common Sandpiper also seen. (David Steele)
The sum.plum. Spotted Redshank was still on show at the Bann Estuary.(David Hill) see pic below.
