Bird News Wednesday 8th March

Whitehead  this morning between 06.30 - 07.30 had 54 Red-throated Diver's, 1 Great Northern Diver, 1 Black-throated Diver, in summer plumage, all flying into Belfast Lough and approx 70 Sandwich Tern also heading into the Lough. (Ian Enlander).

A Whitethroat was singing in Coleraine this morning. (John Clarke).

Two Gannets were off Carnalea on the coastal path this afternoon. (Derek Polley).
