Bird News Saturday 3rd October

The juvenile American Golden Plover and a Curlew Sandpiper were in the south west corner of Lough Beg Co.Derry this morning. (Richard Hunter)

9 Mediterranean Gulls were at Cloughy Beach. A further 7 were to the north at Ratallagh Beach. Best at Kearney was a Chiffchaff and a Greenland Wheatear (Wilton Farrelly / Garry Armstrong)
