Bird News Saturday 24th April

A Corncrake has been calling in Church Bay, Rathlin. 

A Red Kite was over the Dromara Road outside Dundrum. (Wilf Swain).

Good numbers of Whimbrel continue to be seen along the south shore of Lough Neagh including several hundred at Ardmore (Ed O'Hara) and 12 at Reedy Flat. (David Clarke).

Two Red Grouse were in the Antrim hills. (Michael Latham)
