Bird News Friday 3rd December

2 Goosander where in Bally Lough  which lies between Castlewellan and Clough. (Mike McLaughlin)

All 4 Goosanders on Corbet lake this morning, but flew off at 1100 am towards river Bann.(David McCreedy)

2 Long-tailed Duck seen off D3 Belfast Lough, another flew in and landed on sea nr. Kinnegar.(Stuart McKee).

St John's Point had...2 Kestrel, 1 Sparrowhawk,  about 300 Linnets, 30+ Tree Sparrow, flock / group of 15 Reed Buntings.  Tyrella  had at least 500 Common Scoters with a few Red-breasted Merganser mixed in. (Mike McLaughlin)
