Bird News for Thursday 29th December.

The Bonapartes Gull was seen at Sandy Bay, Larne Lough (N.Warnock) It was also reported from Drains Bay this morning.(R.Price/M.Taylor)

A 1st winter Med gull (no ring) was at Ganaway Bay,which is located north of Ballywalter (R.Weyl).

1000 Golden Plover were at Kirkistown and 3 Purple Sandpiper at Portavogie.(K.Bennett).

200 Pale-bellied Brent were at Roe Estuary. 75 Brent, 600 Whooper Swan, 500 Golden Plover, 200 Lapwing and a Greenshank were at Myroe Levels (C Stewart).
