Bird News Saturday 7th January

The Bonaparte's Gull and an Iceland Gull were at Ballygally this morning (Irish Birding)

9 Iceland gulls (2 ad, 4 2nd w, 3 1st w) and 2 1st w Glaucous gulls were at Corbally res. The Ad ring billed gull was at East strand car park, Portrush. An adult and 2nd w Glaucous gulls and 2nd and 1st winter Iceland gulls at (Neal Warnock)
  
At Ardglass, Co Down were 5 Iceland Gulls, 2 Glaucous Gulls, a Greenshank & 7 Purple Sandpiper. At Tyrella were 3 Stonechat and 7 Sanderling. 3 Red Kite were at Leitrim, Co. Down (Ed O'Hara)

A fem/imm Black Redstart was at Killough (Tim Murphy).
The 20 Snow Bunting were still at the landfill site at Hightown road above Glengormley (Larry Toal).
3 Purple Sandpiper were at Ballyholme and 50 Redshank at Bangor Marina (Derek Polley).
A possible adult Thayers Gull was seen at Blanketnook, Co Donegal (Chris Ingram).
