Bird News Saturday 10th November

A juvenile American Golden Plover was this morning at Balls Point, Limavady. Also 8 Waxwings were 200m down the drive.

A juvenile Long-tailed Duck was at Ardmore Point, Lough Neagh. 2 Ruddy Ducks were at Portmore, a White-fronted Goose was at Diamond Lane nearby. (Neal Warnock).

A 1st year Mediterranean Gull was at Ganaway Bay and 100 Whooper Swans were 1 kilometre north of Kirkistown Race Track. (Richard Weyl).

A Brambling was in a garden in Gilnahirk this afternoon. (Ron Price).

A Cedar Waxwing was seen for 10 minutes this morning at Belmullet, by Dave Suddaby.
