Bird News Tuesday 3rd September

An adult Bonapartes Gull was at Portmore Lough (Birdguides)

The 2 Black Tern along with 3 Ruff were still at Belfast Lough RSPB reserve this evening. (Wilton Farrelly).

A Whimbrel was at Glynn in Larne Lough (Ricky Hunter).

2 Kingfishers flew upstream on the River Lagan at Gilchrist bridge this afternoon. (Robert Scott).

2 Chough were near Rue Point on Rathlin today. (Colin Guy).
