Bird News Saturday 27th February

The Glossy Ibis was seen again at Toome this afternoon (Annette Elkin)

The 2nd winter Iceland Gull was still at Whitehouse, Belfast Lough (Brian Murphy)

A Little Egret was giving good views at Moat Park, Dundonald (Karl Martin)

There was a hunting Merlin at Portmore Lough this evening. (James O'Neill)


In Donegal the male Smew and 2 male Scaup were at Inch Lake, and a Greenland White-fronted Goose, a Barnacle and 3 Pink-footed Geese were with 1,000 Greylag Geese at Inch Levels (Richard Gray)
