Bird News Saturday 12th March

Two Med Gulls were at WOW Centre, RSPB Belfast Harbour at lunchtime today (Stuart McQueen)

There was a Chiffchaff (foraging not singing) at Eshywulligan, County Fermanagh this morning (Clive Mellon)

Lough Macnean, Co Fermanagh had 3 Pink-footed Geese, 60 Greenland Whitefronts and a Merlin (Brad Robson)

A Greenland White-front, pair of Gadwall and 5 adult Med Gulls were at Glynn Station today. (Neal Warnock)

A large mixed flock of Fieldfare, rRdwing and Starling was seen in the Drumcrow Road, Glenwherry area this afternoon. A smaller flock of Sieldfare was seen on a road south of Slemish. (Angus Kennedy)

A Little Egret was seen flying over Tesco's car park on the Castlereagh Road today (David Smylie)
