Bird News Monday 1st June

At least two Garganey were showing well from the platform at Portmore Lough RSPB this morning. (Ed O'Hara and Comghal McQuillan)

A Med Gull was at Whitehead seafront this morning. Browns Bay, Islandmagee had 1 Carrion Crow and 1 Whimbrel (Ian Enlander)

A Marsh Harrier was in the Antrim Hills (Michael Latham)

A Whinchat was at Carnalbanagh, Antrim Hills (David Clarke)

A Great Spotted Woodpecker was at Legacurry (Garry Wilkinson)

Five Garganey were on the southern shore of Lough Neagh (James O’Neill)
