Bird News Tuesday 2nd June.

The Med Gull was back at Whitehead this morning. Belfast RSPB had 230 Black-tailed Godwit and 2 Knot. (Ian Enlander)

Garganey was still present at the RSPB Portmore Lough reserve.(Michael Latham)

The Lesser Whitethroat was heard again at Strand Lough, Killough this morning (Chris Murphy)

 A Great Spotted Woodpecker was heard/seen in Clonachullion Wood in the Mournes today. (Owen Beckett)
