Bird News Tuesday 1st December

The Great White Egret was still at Portmore Lough RSPB (Albert Boyle)

A Great Spotted Woodpecker was visiting a garden at Hillsborough (Garry Wilkinson)

The Black Brant was still at Myroe,  a single Barnacle Goose was also present and 2 Pinkfeet were with the Greylag and Whooper flock. (Martin Deehan / S Riddell)

The Great-white Egret was near Dromantine, Co Armagh in a field beside the Newry Canal (Frank Carroll)


Off Macadon Point there were still present two Slavonian Grebe, two Great Northern and one Red Throated Diver (Stuart McKee)
