Bird News Friday 11th June

The Rose-coloured Starling is still in the recently cut fields at Blackwood near Bangor this morning. Traffic is very busy along the road here and great care should be taken when viewing the fields. (Dave Weir). The bird was still present at 5:50pm and seen on the roof of the farm sheds. (Bob Watts).

A male Lesser Scaup was on the pool below the viewing platform at Portmore Lough RSPB this evening. (Garry Armstrong).
