Bird News Sunday 20th June

The Least Tern, a first record for Ireland, continues to show at Portrane Beach, Co Dublin, this morning. For directions, please see yesterday’s post.

Belfast Lough RSPB WoW reserve this evening had an adult Mediterranean Gull, summer plumaged Greenshank and winter plumaged Knot. (Garry Armstrong).

A Cuckoo was calling and 2 pairs of Common Gull were at Mill Lough, Tullybrick, Co. Tyrone. (Godfrey McRoberts).

A single Brent Goose was at the Dundrum end of Murlough. (Seamus O'Hara).
