Bird News Saturday 20th November

A Siberian Chiffchaff was at Oxford Island, around the ponds by the Discovery Centre, the bird responded strongly to Siberian Chiffchaff song. At least two Common Chiffchaff were also present. (Garry Armstrong, Ed O’Hara).

A 1CY Glaucous Gull was in Ballycastle Harbour this morning, as well as 4 Purple Sandpipers. (Ric Else / Hazel Watson)

The Marsh Harrier was still at Portmore Lough RSPB reserve this morning (Michael Henderson).

An adult Mediterranean Gull was near the cafe at Loughshore Park on Belfast Lough. (Stuart McKee).

A juvenile Common Tern and an adult Med Gull were at Kinnegar today. (Neal Warnock)
