Bird News Wednesday 17th November

 A ringtail Hen Harrier and a Merlin were at St John's Point this morning. (Chris Murphy).

A Brambling is visiting a garden in Dungiven. (Lindsay Hodges).

A Jack Snipe was on the D3 area beside Belfast Lough RSPB WoW reserve. (Stuart McKee).

The Catle Egret is still at the south end of Lough Beg along with a Great White Egret, 12 Ruff and high counts of 99 Pochard, mostly males, and 95 Shoveler. (David Steele).

The flock of Twite were still on the beach opposite Donaghadee community centre. (Derek Polley).

The Barnacle Goose was seen again at Portmore RSPB reserve. (Philip McErlean)
