Bird News Sunday 10th April

The Glossy Ibis is still on the pools below the viewing platform at Portmore Lough RSPB. (Ed O'Hara).

The two Little Gulls are still at Loughmourne this morning. (Ivan Quail & Nicky Lynn).

An immature White-tailed Eagle was seen circling over Moyraverty in Lurgan before heading towards Oxford Island. 

At least nine adult Mediterranean Gulls and a Ruff were at Belfast Lough RSPB WOW reserve this morning. Two of the Mediterranean Gulls were still present this evening.  (Ian Enlander/Joe Lamont).

A Slavonian Grebe moulting into summer plumage was south of Whiteabbey in Belfast Lough. (Tim Davis).

The Glaucous Gull was still around the Burgerking in Coleraine. (Jeff Larkin).

The Spotted Redshank was still at Dundrum inner Bay. (Bob Watts).

The Iceland Gull was showing well at the Bann estuary this morning. (Dean Jones).

Two summer plumaged Red-throated and a Great Northern Diver were off Ballyhornan beach. (Michael Latham).

Two summer plumaged Mediterranean Gulls flew down Belfast Lough towards Belfast this afternoon. (Stuart McKee).

Three White Wagtails were at Mill Bay on Rathlin. (Ric Else & Hazel Watson)
