Bird News Monday 26th September

The juvenile Buff-breasted Sandpiper, adult American Golden Plover, 5 Wheatear, 400 Skylark, 6 Buzzard and a Peregrine were at Kirkiston (Stuart McKee).
At Lough Foyle 400 Pale-bellied Brent, 500 Bar-tailed Godwit, 2 Buzzard, 4 Raven, 2 Wheatear and a mixed flock of Linnet, Greenfinch and Tree Sparrow were at Balls Point. A movement of Skylark was noted at the Roe (C Stewart).
