For anyone with a Smartphone (iPhone or Android) Audubon Guides are running a very good value offer on their electronic guide to North American Birds. Over 750 bird species are covered and even if you are not a rarity hunter, there is a lot of overlap with many of our regularly occuring species. The App is reduced to only 69 pence on iTunes, down from the normal price of circa £15. The offer only lasts until the 30th April.
