Bird News Tuesday 28th November

On Rathlin three Crossbill sp. flew south over Kinramer this morning. Also 6 Greenland White-fronted Geese. The Crossbills looked big and sounded interesting, unfortunately they didn't land. (Ric Else & Hazel Watson).

5 Purple Sandpiper, 25 Twite, 1 Great Northern Diver, 80 Golden Plover and 800 Common Scoter were at Tyrella Beach.(Tim Murphy).

5 Snow Bunting were at Myroe, Co Derry, see picture below.(Christine Cassidy & Lindsay Hodges)
