Bird News Wednesday 29th November

Three Goosanders (two males and a female) were along the River Main at Slaght, near Ballymena this morning (David Steele)

5 Snow Buntings were at Myroe (Christine Cassidy and Lindsay Hodges)

On the shoreline beside the Chaine Memorial, Larne were 22 Twite; Off Greencastle, Belfast Lough, there were 2 Long-tailed Ducks. At the Ecos Centre, Ballymena, the Green-winged Teal was showing well. (Peter Robinson/Hill Dick et al)

The female Goosander was near The White Bridge, Murlough (Wilf Swain)

A Red Kite was seen several times over the last week on the Carnacaville Road, near Newcastle. (Helen Bradley)
