Bird News Sunday 20th March

The single Pink foot was still with the Greylags and Whooper Swans at Reedy Flats on the south shore of Lough Neagh. (Ed O'Hara).

The Ring-billed Gull is still at the Round "O" in Enniskillen. (Brad Robson).

The pair of Garganey were at the south end of Lough Shark. (Bob Watts). Both birds were still present this afternoon. (Brian McCloskey).

Two male Goosanders are on the river Maine at Slaght near Ballymena.  The wintering Green Sandpiper, present since October, was seen yesterday. (David Steele).

A male and a female Hen Harrier were seen in the Antrim hills. (Michael Latham).

The two Velvet Scoters were showing well in Dargan Bay, the two Long-tailed Ducks were also present. (Jeff Larkin).
