Bird News Saturday 13th August

The presumed Iberian Wagtail remains on Rathlin Island in field with ponies opposite Kelp House. A sound recording has been made. The bird was still present mid-afternoon. Also a Green Sandpiper was present this morning (Ric Else).

The Little Ringed Plover remains at Portmore Lough (Garry Armstrong).

Two Little Gulls remain at Lady Bay, Lough Neagh (Ed O’Hara).

Four Whimbrel were at the high tide roost at Dundrum. (Michael Latham).
