Bird News Sunday 14th August

Twelve Garganey (two eclipse males and ten females or juveniles) were at Lough Beg this morning, also the female Smew, a juvenile Mediterranean Gull, a Little Gull and the Great Egret. A Green Sandpiper was at the ponds at Mullagh. (David Steele)

The putative Iberian Wagtail is still on Rathlin (Neal Warnock)

A Green Sandpiper is at Lady Bay, Lough Neagh. A Little Gull and Common Sandpiper were also present (Michael Latham)

The Glaucous Gull was still at Riverside Retail Park, Coleraine. In the car park of Riverside Fitness and towards Burger King. (Daniel Newton)
