Bird News Tuesday 9th August

The Yellow Wagtail (probably Iberian) is still present on Rathlin this morning. (Ric Else & Hazel Watson). The bird was still present at 4:40 (Victor Caschera)

At Lady Bay there were 2 Little Gulls. There was no sign of the Ruff or Common Sandpipers. At Portmore there was a Common Sandpiper but no sign of the Little Ringed Plover. (Richard Caves)

The Great White Egret and five Garganey were at the south end of Lough Beg this evening. Also seven Ruff (two juveniles). (David Steele)
