Bird News Wednesday 9th August

 A single Whimbrel was at Belfast Lough RSPB WoW reserve and a summer plumaged Knot at Kinnegar shore. (Daniel Newton).

The Black-winged Pratincole is still at Blanket Nook in Donegal along with a Green Sandpiper, the White-tailed Eagle and eight Ruff. (Derek Brennan). The Black-winged Pratincole and the White-tailed Eagle were still present this evening. (Eric Randall).

A Little Gull was at Magilligan this morning. (Stephen & Donna Riddell).

A Black-throated Diver was also at Magilligan. (John Clarke).

An adult Roseate Tern and a Curlew Sandpiper were at the Bann Estuary. (Dean Jones).
