Bird News Sunday 26th May

The Whimbrel and 2 Knot were at Belfast Lough RSPB WoW reserve. (Ed O'Hara). A pair of Wigeon were also at WoW and a Red-throated Diver off D3. (Stuart McKee).

A Marsh Harrier was at Killard, seen heading towards Ballyquintan. (David Stirling).

The Bann Estuary  had 1 Curlew Sandpiper c400 Dunlin, c165 Ringed Plover,  and c150 Sanderling. (Dennis Weir).

2 Knot were at Lady Bay, Lough Neagh. (Richard Caves).

A Merlin was on Rathlin and a Grasshopper Warbler was at Dunseverick. (Chris Murphy)
