Bird News Monday 12th September

Three Little Stints early morning at Belfast Lough RSPB (Daniel Newton). This afternoon 3 Curlew Sandpiper, 3 Ruff and 2 Knot were seen (Tom Ennis)

No sign of the Osprey from the hide at the Quoile from 7-9am (David Stirling).

3 Curlew Sandpipers, a juvenile Peregrine and a hybrid Carrion x Hooded Crow are at Myroe. (Theo Campbell).

42 Mediterranean Gulls, 5 Goosander, 3 Ruff and 10 Knot are at Ballykelly. (Theo Campbell)

A Ring-tailed Hen Harrier was at Portmore RSPB (Kevin Kirkham). Another was seen at Moorfields, near Ballymena (Ginny McKee)

A Pectoral Sandpiper is in the southwest corner of Lough Beg. A Garganey is also present. (David Steele)

7 Curlew Sandpipers, 5 Mediterranean Gulls, 5 Wheatears, a White Wagtail, a Whimbrel and Grey Plover were at the Bann Estuary (John Spittiswood)

Rathlin had the Curlew Sandpiper, a Hen Harrier and two Twite (Neal Warnock)
