Bird News Saturday 3rd September

A Great White Egret was at Grogan's Hole at the south end of Lough Beg. (Richard Hunter).

St John's Point between 7 and 10am had 3 Arctic Skua, 2 Red-throated Diver and 15 Common Scoter. (Wilton Farrelly).

Three Curlew Sandpipers are at Belfast Lough RSPB WOW reserve. (Daniel Newton).

The Glossy Ibis was still at the Ecos Park in Ballymena. (Jeff Larkin).

A Ruff, Greenshank and 20 Snipe were at Belfast Lough RSPB WOW reserve this afternoon. Another Ruff was at Kinnegar lagoon. (David Clarke).

Three Curlew Sandpipers, 4 Knot, a juvenile Mediterranean Gull and two Common Terns were off the hide at the Barmouth this evening. (John Spottiswood).
