Bird News Thursday 30th April

Washing Bay, Lough Neagh Co Tyrone had 120 Tufted duck, 15 Scaup, 2 Goldeneye, a Pochard, 4 Gadwall, a Whooper Swan and 28 whimbrel. During a BBS survey at Glasdrumman, Ballynahinch, there was a Stock Dove in display flight. (Dermot Hughes)
