Bird News Wednesday 27th January

The Great White Egret was still in flooded fields by the Blackwater bridge near Caledon, Co. Armagh. (Clifford Sharpe).

Yesterday the 1st winter Kumlien's Gull was at Sandy Bay in Larne. (Gavin Ferguson).

A leucistic Black-tailed Godwit was at RSPB Belfast WOW reserve (Gerard McGeehan).

A Great Skua was at Ballymacormick Point this afternoon, see pictures below. (Lesley Crawshaw) 

Two female Bramblings were in a garden in Antrim (Mark Smyth)
