A white phase Gyr Falcon of unknown origin was seen today at Gawleys Gate, heading north (Rob Martin). An escaped Gyr was reported recently from Kells (Neal Warnock) and a bird was recently photographed on top of a roof at Saintfield. However these could be different birds.
On Strangford Lough at Greyabbey Bay were 20 Slavonian Grebe and a Black-throated Diver. At Horse Island were 9 Slavonian Grebe, 2 Black-throated Diver and a Jack Snipe. (Richard Weyl)
