Bird News Thursday 17th October

The Nighthawk was feeding along the river at Galgorm at 15:22, just below the Weir. The bird was also seen feeding on the river this evening. (Killian Mullarney et al).

A count on Strangford Lough last week recorded 20,950 Brent Geese. Of these 23.5% were juveniles (WWT).
