Bird News Friday 17th December

This morning Whitehead (between 08.15 and 09.15) had 91 Red-throated and 3 Great Northern Diver flying passed the seafront into Belfast Lough. (Ian Enlander).

An adult Mediterranean Gull was at the Ecos Park in Ballymena. (Jeff Larkin).

The Black Redstart is still at Whitehead (Brian Halligan, Gerard McGeehan and Shirley Dunlop).

Both of the Great White Egrets were still at Ballycarry Bridge in Larne Lough this afternoon. (Kevin Kirkham)

As well as the GWE at Ballycarry Bridge 3pm the  Black Redstart was at Whitehead half way between Rangers Supporters club and slipway.(Garry Wilkinson)
