Bird News Saturday 14th January

Eight Twite were at the boatyard in Whitehead. (Daniel Newton).

A Great Spotted Woodpecker was along the Newry Canal at Acton Lake, Poyntzpass. (Mark Killops).

The Black Redstart was still at Newcastle harbour. (Michael Latham).

The Spotted Redshank was at the high tide roost in Dundrum South Inner Bay. (David Nixon).

Five Ring-necked Parakeets were at the waterworks on Antrim Road in Belfast. (Aaron Long).

A sinensis race Cormorant was in Alexander Park in Belfast before flying towards the waterworks. (Stuart McKee).
