Bird News Friday 24th November

At least 7 Waxwing are at the entrance to Victoria Park (Park Avenue), Belfast (Stephen Dunbar). The birds were subsequently seen at Mersey Street but have not been seen since. 

2 Red Kites were at Glassdrumman Road, Ballynahinch (Ivan Cullen)

Two Great White Egret were at Portmore this morning. (Ade Fox)

A Marsh Harrier was at Reedy Flats this morning. (David McCreedy)

A high count of 110 Common Scoter along with a Slavonian Grebe and a Great Northern Diver, were off Macedon, Belfast Lough (Stuart McKee)

A White-tailed Eagle was still at Inch, Co Donegal (Michael Savage)

The Spotted Redshank was still at Ballycarry Bridge. The Great White Egret seems to have left the area (Cameron Moore)
