Bird News Sunday 6th April 2025

A Cetti's Warbler is at Strand Lough. (Chris Veale).

A Little Ringed Plover is at the Quoile Pondage. (Chris Murphy).

One of the Little Gulls was still at Craigavon south lake, another 2 Little Gulls were off Croaghan hide at Oxford Island. (Garry Armstrong).

The Little Gull is still at Belfast Lough RSPB WoW reserve. (Daniel Newton, Kevin Kirkham). Also 2 Mediterranean Gulls on the breeding platform. (Kevin Kirkham).

8 White Wagtails and 15 Wheatear are on Rathlin. (Ric Else & Hazel Watson).

A Stock Dove was at Ballyquintin. (Bob Watts).

The Spotted Redshank was still at Dundrum Inner Bay south, a Barnacle Goose was also present. (Dan Baillie).

Drake Green-winged Teal paired up with a female Teal from the hide at the Quoile Pondage. (Tim Murphy).

A Glaucous Gull is at the Bann Estuary. (John Clarke).

A Dark-bellied Brent was at Station Road, Killough at 7.30pm (Chris Murphy).
