Bird News Wednesday 22nd February

The 2nd-winter Ring-billed Gull was still at Groomsport. (Birdguides)
12 Snow Bunting were on the beach at Magilligan Point (Birdguides)
At Larne Lough 3 Little Egret were on the north side of Ballycarry Bridge, and 2 Carrion Crow on the south side. 5 Grey Plover were at Glynn and 5 Purple Sandpiper at Sandy Bay (Cameron Moore).
Approx 30 Greylag Geese were seen near Belfast City centre. 5 Red Kite were in Co Down (Katesbridge area) - (Bill Guiller)
