Bird News Saturday 14th April

A Common Sandpiper was on the Clanrye River at Newry Estuary this morning. (Frank Carroll)

3 Common Sandpipers were at Lower Lough Erne islands RSPB Reserve Fermanagh this morning (Brad Robson)

6 Crossbill were at Altnahinch Dam this morning (Richard Hunter)

Two White Wagtails were visible this morning from the Visitors Centre, RSPB WoW (Daniel Newton)

A 4CY Iceland Gull was at Whiteabbey (Paul McCullough).

A small flock of 10 White Wagtails were in a stubble field in Ballintoy this afternoon near the Church along the upper path leading to the Rope Bridge. (Robert Plant)

Many common migrants are now being widely reported including Blackcaps, Sedge Warblers, Wheatears, House Martins and Common Terns.
