Bird News Wednesday 4th April

A pair of Goosander were in Victoria Park in Belfast. (Walter Veale).

Whitehead seafront between 06.45 and 07.45 this morning had 63 Red-throated Diver fly past into Belfast Lough, 4 Red-throated Diver inshore, 2 Black-throated Diver fly past into Belfast Lough, 2 Black-throated Diver inshore, 5 Great Northern Diver fly past into Belfast Lough, 8 Sandwich Tern foraging inshore and 7 Manx Shearwater offshore.
