Bird News Saturday 13th March

The Ring-billed Gull was still at Carrickfergus this morning. (Guy Hamilton).

A Ring-necked Duck was at Lough Beg.(David Steele)

The American Wigeon was at Glynn again this morning.  (Cameron Moore).

24 Twite were between Briggs Rocks and Orlock Point, Co Down (Wilton Farrelly)

11 Greenland Whitefronts where at Myroe along with approx. 190 Whooper Swan and 40 Greylags. (Richard Gray) A single Pink-footed Goose was also present (Martin Deehan)

18 Sandwich Tern where seen at Portaferry today,( the highest count of the winter was 24), Sandwich Terns which didn't overwinter will now be returning.(John Foster)
