Bird News for Monday 3rd Jan

The Snow Goose was still present at Ann's Point Co.Down (E.O'Hara)
In addition to the above bird there were also 100 Canada Geese (feral population) a Med.Gull was at Cloghy Bay and 12 Grey Plover at the Dorn,a Grey Plover and a Kestrel were at Ballyquintin Point and a Carrion Crow, 1 Little Egret,2 Redwing, 30 Fieldfare, and 2 Kestrel at Templecowey(A.McCullough)

25 Waxwing were along the Bryansburn Road in Bangor.(R.Weyl)

300 Waxwing were still a mile outside Waterfoot.

Late news from yesterday ( Sun.2nd) 200 Barnacle Geese in a field alongside the Tullynakill Road,north of Whiterock Co.Down.(R.Price)
